AdBlock Master's Privacy Policy describes our information practices for our website and browser extension. Please read this policy carefully. We take your privacy very seriously and we want you to understand exactly how information is being collected, how the information is being processed, which pieces of information you can request to be removed, and how to contact us regarding this policy. When it comes to your own personal information, most of this privacy policy applies to users who choose to donate to support AdBlock Master. If all you do is use the extension then you're practically, except for an anonymous, unique ID, invisible to us.

Personal Information?
Personal information means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject"). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, indirectly or directly, in particular, by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. This information includes, for example, details such as name and email address, but also information in connection with payments.
Information AdBlock Master collects
Personal information
When you visit the AdBlock Master website we collect IP address, unique ID, logging of some of the button clicks on our website (clicking download, for example) and user event logging data. When the AdBlock Master extension communicates with AdBlock Master servers, we receive the computer’s IP address. After six months we will remove any identifying information such as IP address from our log files and databases.
Anonymous information
Our extension captures anonymous usage information including, but not limited to, the preferred language, the version number of the extension, acceptable Ads opt-in, opt-in to advanced features like our local content caching service, number of ads blocked, number of blocked requests, and browser and operating system type. The AdBlock Master extension also attach an anonymous, unique ID to each installation. We store aggregated statistics about the installation connected with each user ID indefinitely. We use this information to determine the performance of AdBlock Master features as well as to help us identify and fix issues and bugs.
Logs on our Servers
Logs for general requests made to theadblockmaster.com or its infrastructure are kept for up to 90 days. These logs include the IP address, operating system, browser, and page address. We do anonymize the IP address by using a hash to encrypt this information and we immediately delete the original IP address. Such data is used to gather usage statistics as well as to investigate potential security issues. After 90 days, we will remove this information from our databases and log files.
Extension error information
An automatic error report is sent to AdBlock Master's servers whenever an error occurs in our extension. This automatic report contains the anonymous information stated previously along with the current browser version and a description of the error. Should a URL exists in the error description then the extension will attempt to delete it. The data is used for troubleshooting and for identifying general defects which lead to unexpected error and crashes. After 7 days this information will be deleted from our log files and databases.
Logs for payment processing requests are kept in accordance with US tax law retention periods and are deleted after the end of the respective retention period. Information in such logs can include IP address, email (if provided), name (if provided), address (if provided), browser type and version, operating system, payment type, card type, payment amount, expiration date, and last four digits of the card shall a card be used. This data is used to provide insights into the financial performance of AdBlock Master.
Google Analytics
AdBlock Master uses Google Analytics to aggregate information about traffic patterns and how our extension and website are being used. We limit the data sent to Google Analytics, and solely do so to improve our extension and website. Users located in the European Union and European Economic Area
Google Analytics, used on our website, is a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies" (text files stored on your computer and which enable us to analyse your use of our Website). Such information generated by the cookie on your use of our Website (including your abbreviated IP address) is passed to a Google server in the United States and is stored there. Google uses such information to assess your use of our Website, compile reports on the activities for us and provide more services in connection with use of our Website and the internet. Google may also transmit this information to third parties if this is required by law, or if third parties process this information on behalf of Google.

Disclosure and processing of collected information
We try to make AdBlock Master better
Adblock Master uses the collected usage and analytics data to maintain and improve the AdBlock Master extension and website, gain insight into how our services are being used, and in our efforts to prevent fraud. The information is solely used internally.
We do not sell your data
AdBlock Master never has and never will sell your personal information to any 3rd party without your consent. We sometimes share aggregated and anonymized information that cannot be associated with an individual with third parties or the public.
We might disclose personal information when required by law
We do our best to cooperate with all valid United States law enforcement requests and court orders. If possible, we'll notify you of requests for your information using the email stored in our system shall we have one. Some circumstances prohibit us from notifying you about such request or order (e.g. an order under 18 U.S.C. § 2705(b) or § 215 of the Patriot Act). All personal and usage data that AdBlock Master collects is stored in our databases and AdBlock Master takes reasonable steps to keep it secure. That said, no database nor server is totally 100% secure and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data in our system or while being transmitted over the Internet. Our best effort is given, but you use AdBlock Master's website and browser extension at your own risk.
What is the legal basis?
Adblock Master collects and process your personal information in compliance with the GDPR and the applicable EU laws.

The collection and processing of your personal information could be necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests. We collect and process server logs for technical reasons, such as, but not limited to, preventing denial of service attacks. Such denial of service is typically accomplished by flooding a targeted machine or resource with superfluous requests in an attempt to overload systems and prevent some or all legitimate requests from being fulfilled propely. Preventing such overload of our systems and servers as well as any security issues by denial of service attacks is in your and our vital interest and therefore we use the website logs. We use data collected and processed via subscription downloads, extension update checks, feedback data sent by you and emergency notifications, for technical reasons, such as, but not limited to, ensuring the security of the extension version used by you. Ensuring the security of Adblock Master extension is in your and our vital interest and therefore we use such data. Furthermore, we collect and process such information to ensure that our extension and website are constantly improved and adapted to the changing requirements for an efficient usability and the technical environment. Ensuring the usability of our websites and of our extension is in your and our vital interest and therefore we use such data.

Access, information rectification and restriction rights
Naturally you have the right to receive, on your request, information about the personal data stored by us about you and information about how we collect, store and process your personal information. Where applicable, you have the right to access such personal information stored by us. You also have the right to request from Adblock Master the rectification of your inaccurate personal information. Taking into account the purposes of collecting and processing your data, you have the right to have incomplete personal information completed. You have the right to request restriction of processing.
Data portability right
The law grants you the right (1) to receive all personal information related to you and which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format as well as (2) to transmit that data to another controller.

You have the right to ask for the erasure of your personal information, where – inter alia – one of the following grounds applies:
- Shall we no longer need your personal information for the above mentioned purposes.
- Shall you withdraw your consent which the collection and processing is based on and where there are no other legal grounds for the collection and processing.
- Shall you object to the collection and processing with no overriding legitimate grounds for the collection and processing.
Please note that if data needs to be retained for legal purposes according to to Art. 17 (3) GDPR, we will restrict the use of the respective data.

You have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular, in the Member State of your place of residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement shall you consider that the collection and processing of personal information relating to you infringes the GDPR.

Product & Ads
About AdBlock Master
AdBlock Master is an advertising blocker that prevents different annoying ad formats from thousands of sources to be displayed on your computer. It also blocks aggressive pop ups. Ad networks use new domains every day and we update our blocking list to keep up this is why AdBlock Master is NOT full proof.
Monetization with Sponsored Search Ads
AdBlock Master monetize by implementing Sponsored Search advertising in the North of Google search engine. When you click on one of these ads, we get a revenue sharing of each clicks. Sponsored Search results are not available on all markets. These ads are not provided by Google but they are based on the keyword you used on Google.
Monetization with affiliate links
We also monetize by using affiliate links. When you click on one of our partner's links, we use an affiliate links provider and get a percentage of the purchase fee in return. This solution is operated by a 3rd party provider and we do not have any visibility or tracking into your purchase. Affiliate links are not available on all markets.
Opting Out
Your may opt out of any monetization by sending us an email, disabling or uninstalling the extension.
Privacy policy changes and updates
AdBlock Master reserves the right to update this policy for any reason, and may make small, inconsequential changes to this policy with or without notice. Each time this policy is modified we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Shall substantial changes be made to the disclosure of your personal information, AdBlock Master will attempt to notify you through the email that was provided during the payment process. Your continued use of the AdBlock Master website or browser extension constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and any revisions or updates.
